Catalina 42 MKII is one of the highly desirable late-model deep-keel configuration with two private cabins.  This remarkable layout provides unbelievable space and comfort . Many nice amenities such as pedestal-mounted Raymarine instrumentation package , roller furling, walk-through transom to name just a few. Along with space to sleep seven, this design remains a strong favorite in the sailing community.  Her drive train is a 56hp Yanmar, with Auto-prop self-pitching folding prop, Hurricane diesel heater, 1 Vacu-flush fresh water head, one manual salt water head, Panda 3kw generator, Heart inverter, stack pack mainsail system, Garhauer outboard hoist. etc.

A 10ft Achilles inflatable with cover.and 9.8hp Tohatsu 4 stroke is also available. The dinghy fits perfectly on the bow and can easily be towed astern.
Boat is in great condition and has been professionally maintained. The boat is inspected by a mechanic every month and has been washed every two weeks.
The boat is located in San Pedro close to Los Angeles Yacht Club.  Last survey was in 2015 and will be made available for review to the new buyer.

This Catalina 42 has the two Stateroom.

As soon as you walk down the companion way entrance and to starboard is a large guest stateroom, w/ Custom Mattress & private access to the aft head.

The main salon has U-shaped dinette to port that converts to double berth - cushions.  The nav station is opposite the dinning table to starboard.   The AC & DC electrical panels as well as some electronics are all conveniently located to starboard at the Nav Station.

Forward is the owners stateroom w/en suite head & separate shower stall head and vanity w/sink in forepeak. Large pullman style Mattress to port with generous storage in lockers and drawers to starboard.

The large galley runs aft to port with access to the stern storage compartment & even the back of the engine.
