The 80’s salon is just the beginning of its plush quarters. With a settee that curves from forward along the starboard side, a high-low burl-wood table and a corner built-in wet bar (with its own icemaker), the atmosphere is calming and elegant. A spectacular 40” flat-screen television rises and lowers at your whim on the port side. Salon electronics also include DVD and audio systems.

Ocean Alexander’s master woodworkers spend countless hours crafting the salon’s cabinetry and paneling so they rival the work of the world’s legendary furniture makers. Burl columns, Sakura valences and superbly matched woodgrains give the 80 Cockpit Motoryacht an undeniable richness.

One of our design mantras is spaciousness, and this salon certainly delivers it. We’ve taken full advantage of the 20-foot beam to give you and your guests room to lounge. From screening Hollywood’s best cinema to the cognac-warmed aftermath of a seven-course dinner, the 80’s salon can keep all your guests superbly entertained.

Michelin-rated guest chef? No problem.

Whether you’re whipping up something elegant from the sea or letting your chef take the reins, the 80’s galley has every feature you’ll need. Appliances are full-sized, and include the best names in the business: Gaggenau™, Franke® and Miele™. Double sinks, a trash compactor and a microwave/convection oven are here, as well as an electric cook top and electric oven and full-sized refrigerator/freezer. The cabinetry is nothing short of imaginative. A forward overhead dish locker ensures you creative space options in the rest of the galley, including a lazy susan.

Floating cabinetry with under-cabinet lighting give this galley plenty of sophistication. Once again our exotic Sakura wood shines. In the cabinetry. At the large, guest table with its concealed chart drawer. And at the elegantly capable helm. Your lower helm comes equipped with a handsome, oversized dash, a signature inlaid-wood Ocean Alexander ship’s wheel and a comfortable electric Stidd® helm chair. Nearby is a cozy, luxuriously upholstered settee for your guests.

A stunningly upper-crust lower deck.

The 80’s guest and master staterooms are where genuine splendor takes over. Its raised, full-sized king berth (lit from below) gives the master stateroom a striking focal point. Surrounding it are nightstands crafted from rich Sakura and burl wood. Built-in cabinetry and a seated vanity with mirror are on one side of this luxury suite.

On the other is a spacious settee. Behind the master berth are his-and-her heads, each fully appointed and sharing an oversized shower. If you choose, you can opt for his-and-her bathroom vanities and change your layout to include a large, walk-in wardrobe. When you’re ready to relax, stretch out and enjoy the 40” television/DVD/audio system.

Accommodations for your guests are almost as spectacular as yours. Both the VIP forward stateroom and the port guest stateroom have private, adjoining heads, complete with full showers. Granite or marble countertops finish off these well-lighted, mirrored spaces.

The 80’s crew quarters have a flat-screen TV/DVD and audio system, a cedar-lined hanging locker and drawers under the berth. The crew will share two bunks, plenty of storage, a mini-galley and a head with stall shower as well as a dedicated washer/dryer.

The 80 Cockpit’s full-height engine room is filled with details that boost safety, performance and easy access. Explosion-proof lighting, rubber flooring, the clean, polished look of stainless steel. Aluminum fuel tanks have sight gauges, all piping is color-coded and all electrical is marinegrade tinned copper wiring.

Can open air be addictive?

The 80 Cockpit Motoryacht’s fly bridge is designed to awe. Just up the curved staircase from the main deck and cockpit is an expansive command post with twin white ultraleather Stidd® helm chairs. An intuitively designed, massive dash can be supplemented with any of your favorite navigational tools. Behind the sensually curved settee and high-low table is room for a dinghy or an optional Jacuzzi® for the ultimate water-on-water experience. A large, stainless steel barbecue grill brings gourmet experiences straight to your command post.

Below you’ll find the 80’s namesake cockpit. Ocean Alexander has spared no detail in making this space the potentially prime focus for sport fishermen or divers — or for partygoers who appreciate being able to step on deck without spilling a drop of their well-chilled martinis. The cockpit’s grand design starts with a beautiful teak deck. From there, you can exercise your options to perfect your cockpit for the pursuits you want: water sports, fishing, diving or just throwing a legendary bash. A few steps above the rear platform are twin settees with oval tables, giving your guests a great vantage point. Your crew also has a secondary access point to their quarters under this stylish cockpit seating.
