*FLAG BLUE HULL* While many cruising yachts less than 40 feet in length are best-suited to overnight or weekend stays, Meridian's 341 Sedan has redefined the class by providing the comfortable accommodations and extra features you need for extended cruising. This cruisability incorporates accommodations for four in two spacious staterooms, a full-service galley with all the amenities and an airy salon with opening windows, panoramic views and entertainment center.

And, like the rest of the Meridian Yachts fleet, she also offers standard underwater exhaust and a variety of available navigation and communications systems. The 341 from Meridian redefines just how much cruising comfort you can design into a compact sedan.

The first yacht in the new Meridian line, the Meridian 341 Sedan, features gracious amenities in a 34-foot, two-stateroom layout that sleeps up to six passengers.

Dave Taylor, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Meridian Yachts, says, “Every Meridian yacht is designed to deliver open space for living and high quality for cruising. This is evident even with the first model in our line-up, the 341 Sedan.”

Meridian is more durable and stronger than most other yachts because of the unitized construction process, Taylor explains. Through this process, load-bearing bulkheads are bonded directly to the hull and deck. Longitudinal hull stiffeners give additional strength on the hull sides, absorbing stress that would normally continue to move through the boat. “When we designed and engineered Meridian Yachts, our goal was to provide a yacht that fit the functional cruising needs of serious boaters, and we feel we hit right on the mark,” Taylor notes.

Part of the pleasure of boating is being able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, Taylor says. Providing abundant natural light to the interior of the 341 is a bonded, tempered, safety-glass window system offering panoramic views from the salon. To be able to enjoy the view in comfort, two-zone air conditioning is available with concealed, salon ceiling air ducts providing efficient cooling of the boat from the top down. Twin Flexsteel incliners in the salon face a large entertainment center featuring a 20-inch Sony TV with VCR along with a component stereo system. And for additional comfort and elegance, Mirage leather is used for seating throughout the boat. Natural cherry wood interiors create a classic look that is both inviting and durable.

According to Paul Cherney, vice president of sales for Meridian Yachts, “The 341 provides space and amenities that normally are not available on motoryachts of this size.” These amenities include such things as standard Karadon countertops in the galley, providing a durable work surface. “The well-thought-out galley has properly located storage, and includes as standard equipment a two-burner electric cook top, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer,” Cherney says. “Another incredible feature not found on motoryachts this size is a two-stateroom layout that provides not only plenty of space to stretch out and relax, but also private sleeping accommodations, making it fun for two couples or a family on extended cruises,” adds Cherney. Both staterooms feature designer fabrics with decorative pillows and cedar-lined hanging lockers. The head, with separate enclosed shower, is accessible through a private entry from the master stateroom or the main companionway. The 6-foot, 5-inch headroom through out the main cabin enhances the open and spacious feeling of the 341 motoryacht.

The standard engines on the Meridian 341 are twin MerCruiser® 5.7 L gas inboards, offering reliable, powerful performance. Optional engines include twin MerCruiser 6.2 L MPI gas inboards or twin 250 Cummins MerCruiser® Diesel inboards. All Meridian engine beds have transverse crossbeams to add strength and reduce vibration. The structural engine mountings transfer the weight, torque and thrust of the propulsion system to the structural components of the hull. A 10-year hull and deck limited warranty is standard on the 341, giving owners peace of mind.

Unique to the Meridian line is the exclusive D.O.C.™, or Docking On Command, system. Optional on the 341, this easy-to-use, single-control system allows the captain to navigate through the tightest docking conditions. Cherney says, “All Meridian Yachts are easy to dock and maneuver because this system works at literally the touch of a button, making it convenient and hassle-free for boaters of every experience level.”
