42' REGAL 4260 COMMODORE (2005) "IRISH WAKE"

Largest and most awe inspiring of the Regal fleet, the 4260 is breathtaking just standing still and an equally beautiful performer offshore. With the ability to cruise comfortably at 25 knots, she handles widely varying sea conditions with a grace and ease that's rare for a yacht so large and luxurious.

More info

This sleek beauty represents the most in luxury and performance in a package that shows off her well thought out layouts on deck and below. Her enormous stepped swim platform welcomes you aboard through the cockpit's two transom gates. This is a very social layout since most of the guest seating is centered near the doublewide helm rather than aft as it is on most Express cruisers.

A large U-shaped seating arrangement faces the helm and driver. The helm is extra wide for two-person seating. The aft cockpit features facing bench seats

Alternate engine access is gained via a walkdown ladder beneath the aft bench seat.

Transom storage provides plenty of room for fenders, dock lines and cleaning supplies. The cargo nets are standard.

The forward stateroom offers an oversized berth with a real inner-spring mattress that is hinged for easy access to a large storage area beneath. There are also two full-size storage drawers and a large cedar-lined hanging locker. A built-in TV/VCR is on the starboard side. Above the berth is a recessed bookshelf. The forward bulkhead is mirrored, adding a feeling of additional space to an already large cabin.

There are the stand-up, private (really private) staterooms on the 4260. Both have hardwood pocket doors, not curtains, for real privacy. And both have their own private heads. Quite a design feat in 41 feet. This is the mid-cabin. You'll be hard pressed to decide which cabin to use as the master stateroom.

The wide open and light main salon of the 4260 is a vision of architectural beauty married to function and easy care. The 9' LeatherCrest sofa is deep and comfortable and provides generous seating for dining or conversation. Optional, handcrafted cherrywood cabinetry provides overhead storage. The stereo is advanced Kenwood design with Bose speakers.

A beautiful helm is graced with a burlwood panel and tilt steering wheel. All instrumentation, switches and multifunction gauges are easy to access.

The beautifully proportioned galley features a large, curved expanse of Corian counter surface with plenty of easy access, roll-out draws and bin storage below. Side by side refrigerator / freezer, microwave, coffee maker and hidden 2-burner stove are all standard. Above you'll find additional storage and TV/VCR that can be viewed from the salon area.

The 4260 galley even provides dedicated storage for the dishes, which are standard by the way.

One of two full-size, stand-up heads with enclosed showers. Each has sink, Corian countertop vanity and Vacu-flush toilet.

An optional, aft cockpit sundeck is available for those that enjoy the sun.

The beautiful 4260 helm is graced with a burlwood panel and tilt steering wheel. All instrumentation, switches and multifunction gauges are easy to access. A Raymarine VHF, depthfinder and GPS chart plotter are standard, as well as the remote spotlight. The Raymarine Radar/Chartplotter and Autopilot units shown here are optional, upgraded factory installed equipment.
