More info

The 305 Conquest, has sleeping accommodations for up to four adults, 58 square feet of cockpit space for fish fighting or entertaining and a recessed bow walkaround for more secure-feeling bow access. Its cabin interior features warm and inviting decorator accents, brushed nickel hardware, cherry cabinetry and a hardwood sole. This Conquest was designed to fish hard and play hard while affording virtually all of the comforts of home. Like all Boston Whaler boats, the 305 Conquest is constructed with Boston Whaler’s exclusive Unibond construction that renders it unsinkable.

The 305 Conquest measures 30’ 1” at the centerline and 32’ 1” with the standard integral bow pulpit. Its low-profile windlass comes standard with anchor, rode, helm control and a handheld remote control for operating the system from the bow. The recessed bow walkaround is eight inches wide and is flanked by a sturdy, 1-inch, welded, stainless steel bow rail.

On the forward section of the raised portion of the deck is a cushioned seat for two. The self-bailing cockpit sports 28 inches of interior freeboard, with thigh-high coaming bolsters for comfort and support while fighting fish or retrieving water toys. An acrylic transom door provides easy access to a concealed telescoping boarding ladder with grab rail mounted to the Euro-style boarding platform.

A retractable handheld shower is located just aft of the transom door on the boarding platform so that swimmers can rinse prior to entering the cockpit. Standard cockpit fishing features include stainless steel port and starboard toe rails with downrigger weight holders, under-gunnel rod racks and three transom and four gunnel mounted rod holders. For electric reels or downriggers, two under-gunnel 12-V receptacles are optional.

There are seven, solid, stainless steel cleats on this Conquest, with two 10-inch stern cleats accessible via hawse pipes. The insulated port and starboard in-deck lockers have standard pump-out and a combined capacity of 388 quarts. Located between the in-deck lockers is a large deck hatch with twin gas-assist springs for convenient access to the aft bilge compartment housing the three batteries, sea cocks, optional diesel generator, plumbing, transducer mounting areas and other systems equipment.

The aft deck lifts easily, providing unobstructed access for maintenance and servicing these components. When deployed, the hideaway stern bench seat measures more than five feet in length and can hold several adults comfortably. Otherwise, the seat folds flush to the transom affording a spacious unobstructed cockpit for fish fighting or ballroom dancing. A lighted 24-gallon recirculating livewell with raw water fill is molded into the port transom.

Even when the stern seat is in use, access to the in-deck lockers and livewell is unobstructed. The standard prep station/wet bar includes a large sink with faucet, a recessed rigging plateau and a cutting board- equally suited for preparing bait or slicing limes. Tackle and gear can be stowed in multiple locking compartments on the face of the station and under the helm seat base. The battery switches are conveniently located in the walk-through area.

Opposite the prep station on the port side is a step for bow access that doubles as a comfortable perch for watching lines while trolling or observing wake boarders in tow. The helm station is raised to promote optimum visibility. The helm seat is adjustable forward and aft and features a flip-up seat base that converts it to a convenient leaning post for operation while standing. The companion bench seat includes fore and aft backrests so several people can relax comfortably while facing either direction. The windshield is made out of tempered glass to minimize distortion and maximize longevity and features an aluminum frame. It includes port and starboard windshield wipers and an electric center vent panel. To further promote visibility, the top of the console is textured to reduce glare. Console switches are backlit so you can read their function identifiers while operating at night.

The console face is designed to accommodate two large 10-inch displays or several smaller displays. Additional electronics can be mounted in the electronics box above in the standard hardtop. The hardtop also includes cockpit floodlights, a dome light and five rod holders. When the optional canvas is installed but not in use, the side curtains tuck into recesses molded into the top for a sleeker appearance, convenient storage and immediate access when you need it. The cabin is accessed via a lockable sliding acrylic companionway door. Fiberglass steps lead to the hardwood cabin sole. A cedar-lined hanging locker is located to port for easy access for stowing foul weather gear. Aft of that is a double mid-cabin berth with a screened porthole. The berth cushions and surroundings are constructed of superior marine grade fabric and material that is attractive yet easy to maintain.

Other creature comforts include a reading light and a magazine rack. The galley, also to port, features rich cherrywood grain finished cabinetry, a granite coat countertop, a 12V/120V refrigerator, a single-burner butane stove with cover, a sink with faucet and cover, hot and cold pressurized water, and a microwave oven. The cabinets provide ample storage and there is even a recessed trash receptacle with cover between the galley and the dinette. A strategically placed grab rail also functions as a kitchen towel rack. The enclosed head features a pullout showerhead, mirror, vanity with storage and granite coat countertop, porthole with screen, a sink with hot and cold pressurized water and a VacuFlush toilet. The head compartment is also designed to provide access to the back of the console to simplify electronics installation.

In the forward cabin area is a dinette with comfortable seating for several adults. The dinette tabletop is mounted on a gas-assist base. Push the tabletop down and rearrange the seat cushions and it quickly and easily converts to a 6’ 6” long forward berth without cumbersome poles to change or table pieces to stow. The seatbacks, cushions and berth fillers are made of superior grade marine fabrics and feature decorator accents. Under both the port and starboard seat cushions are spacious storage compartments. The cabin includes three screened portholes and a large deck hatch. The hull of the 305 Conquest affords a smooth ride because of its sharp-V entry, which transitions to 20 degrees at the transom. Its 10’ 7” beam promotes lateral stability and its 300-gallon fuel capacity provides ample range for recreational boating and fishing.

Twin 225-horsepower Mercury Marine OptiMax engines are standard. Power options include the standard engines with Mercury Marine’s digital throttle and shift system; twin F-225 Mercury Marine FourStrokes (available with analog gauges only); or 250 XS Mercury Marine OptiMax engines.
